Goddard Arms

16th Century Crown Inn, renamed the Goddard Arms, which become Swindon's de facto Town Hall, courthouse and council rooms until the mid-19th century. Has a basement bar and wood panelled meeting room upstairs which used to be the court room. Holds a prominent place looking down Wood Street in the older part of the city centre. Small paid car park.
